How is Santa Clara Kindergarten class so special? Why do we call our class Kinderrific as in terrific? Hmm... Great questions! I will show you the reasons why. Let's take a closer look.
Learning by doing is a major philosophical belief in education. I myself is a solid example of that kind of learner. I am a doer and a visual learner. This is the biggest approach in a kindergarten program. My goal is to develop and enrich the multi- modal child academically, socially, emotionally, and artistically. Combining all these areas of development and gearing them to achieving spiritual growth, the core of Santa Clara curriculum. I know that not all children learn in the same way, the same time, and the same pace. By offering a meaning- based teaching strategies, I hope that I will be able to address the different needs of each child. I will create an environment conducive to learning, joyful and enthusiastic yet provide opportunities for critical and deeper thinking. Students will be able to observe, imitate, listen, pretend, dream, make choices, experiment, discuss, perform, interact with others, and enjoy the learning process. Each child will be encouraged to grow optimally as an individual, as well as a participating group member, as a Kinderrific Knight!
