Kindergarten celebrating the Three Kings
This 2015, we really show we believe in the saying "New Year, New You". We adopted a class pet and we named her Leila.
Before we adopted her, we discussed about how to be loving and caring with pets and the responsibilities that go with having a pet. We are really excited she is with us. She has been really great since Monday. And the most exciting of it all? We get to take her home someday! We just have to wait for our turn. We believe what the Bible says, |
"I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine."
Psalm 50:11
Here is Leila watching us do our work and being attentive during discussion.
In our journal everyday, we are going to write about the fun things we do with Layla. This will help and train us with our writing skills because our goal is to become good writers.
In Science, we read a wonderful book about Box Turtles and learned some fascinating facts about them. We made a Double Bubble Map and a Bubble Map to help us remember the details. Here are Madi and Matteo's works. They are really creative on this project.
And we made a Winter Tree project! Aren't they cute? We have more things to tell you! Stay tuned!
