For Veterans Day last Tuesday, we talked about the importance of honoring our soldiers and all the people in the military. They show us how much they love our country and the sacrifices they make to protect us. All of us agreed that it is nice to pray for them everyday for their safety.
In Religion, we learned that God made us unique and different from others. God also made us special, and has given all of us wonderful talents. We love God each day we talk about Him!

This week, we learned the letter Tt. We studied its correct formation and its sound. Everyone of us had to think of things that begin with its sound. In our circle time all week, we created sentences using the pictures that begin with a Tt. And the most exciting of it all? We went on a letter Tt scavenger hunt! That was so much fun! |

We had accomplished so much this week, and so we are so proud of ourselves! We just couldn't wait to finish our Fall Tree project!
We know we have to expand our word bank, so here is an exciting thing we do to learn our words. Through painting! First, we write the words in pencil and we paint over them with our favorite colors. Daily 5 is really fun!
This week, we learned our CVC short u word families. We are so proud to tell you that we perfected all of them! Here are our pictures practicing to decode the words. We switched the position of the letters and discussed if the words we made are real or nonsense words. It was hilarious sometimes!
We are recognizing consonant blends, we know our consonant sounds, and we are reading our sight words faster. Look at us! We are really hard at work!
